QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 education is preferred
  • One (1) year experience in an institution food service setting is preferred
  • Must have a certificate in a Food Sanitation Course or be willing to acquire a Food Sanitation Certificate in the first six (6) months of employment
  • A certificate in an accredited cooking program is preferred
  • Demonstrate Tabor Home Inc. Core Competencies and/or Management & Leadership Competencies.
  • Good work and attendance record
  • Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to communicate in more than one language would be considered an asset.

Duties Include

  • Serving Resident night lunches
  • Dishwashing/table clearing
  • Odd cleaning jobs
  • Light preparation of fluids and foods
  • May include some Resident feeding
