Tabor Units

The Tabor Units include 21 studio and one-bedroom suites for seniors 65+.

All Units are non-smoking and pet free. Tenants must be capable of living independently with community resources such as Home Care available if eligible.  Tenants are responsible for the care of their Unit.  Weekly housekeeping is provided in public areas.

Tabor Units are owned and managed by Tabor Home Inc. The cost of the units within the complex is based on the square footage of the unit.  Prices range from $290/month to $480/month and include shared laundry facilities, hydro and water (subject to change).

Acceptance for housing is based on an application process, which includes reference checks, and availability.  There is generally a waiting list.

SSGL

The “Support to Seniors in Group Living” program is offered to residents of the Tabor Units and Apartments.

The SSGL facilitator is available to assist residents with life management skills such as making appointments, arranging meal delivery, ordering groceries, or providing assistance with mail correspondence. Additional services are provided based on individual needs. The services of SSGL do not duplicate homecare services.

Social activities such as coffee breaks, bible study, meal outings, exercise programs, BBQ’s and special events are scheduled. A monthly calendar is supplied listing the various activities.
